The Whisky Experience Tour - 1 Day Tour
A Half day tour including admission fees to Glenkinchie Distillery included in the tour price.
Glenkinchie Distillery will be closed due maintenace works from 24th March until the 24th April.
Our tour starts at 9.00hrs from Scotline Tours Office at 87 High Street on the Royal Mile with a short drive through the beautiful East Lothian countryside, passing Dirleton Castle famous for its walled gardens, to the coastal town of North Berwick with the Bass Rock in the distance, home to thousands of seabirds. After a 45 minute stop we continue our journey, taking us past Haddington and St Mary’s Church dating from the 14th century, until we arrive at Glenkinchie Distillery, a working malt whisky distillery. The tour includes a guided tour of the distillery which provides information on how Scotland’s national drink has been made since 1840. A taste of the Glenkinchie Single Malt is included to remind you of your visit. You can also visit an exhibition of malt whisky in the museum. After touring the distillery we return to Edinburgh passing Musselburgh, a small fishing town with superb views of the Firth of Forth, before arriving in Edinburgh for 14.00hrs.
