Family Friendly Loch Ness, Glencoe & Highlands Tours - 1 Day Tour

This one day tour to the Highlands and Loch Ness is for families with children of all ages. The Highlands is renowned for its majestic and spectacular scenery. On this tour you will see Lochs, Mountains, the deep valley of Glencoe and the southern part of Loch Ness.
The tour departs from our office 87 High Street on the Royal Mile at 08.30hrs and takes you on a scenic tour through the most dramatic and beautiful areas of Scotland. As you pass Stirling you will see Stirling Castle in the distance before arriving at Tyndrum, a small highland village for morning coffee. We continue to the majestic valley of Glencoe, the infamous site of the 1692 massacre and enjoy stunning highland scenery with ample time for photo opportunities.
We drive along the banks of Loch Linnhe, before arriving at Fort William. As we drive along you may have the opportunity to take pictures of Ben Nevis, before entering the Great Glen. This is a very scenic part of the Highlands. Our next stop is Fort Augustus, situated at the southern end of Loch Ness, where we stop for approximately two hours. There you have the possibility to have lunch, stroll along the banks of Loch Ness and enjoy the lively activity on the Caledonian Canal. You might even see Nessie!
We leave Fort Augustus and return via Spean Bridge, passing Loch Laggan and through Grampian Mountains to the picturesque town of Pitlochry for your next stop. The last part of the tour is a scenic drive through beautiful Perthshire and Fife and as we approach Edinburgh, we view the historic Forth Rail Bridge. We continue to Edinburgh, where our tour ends in city centre, near Waverley Bridge at approximately 20.30hrs.
