Our Terms and Conditions will apply to your booking. We believe that our Terms and Conditions are fair and clear. Please read them carefully.

 

Scotline Tours - One Day Tours

The Terms & Conditions listed here apply to all bookings made for the following tours:
Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Highlands
Loch Lomond, Kelpies & Stirling Castle
Alnwick, Bamburgh & Holy Island
Rosslyn's Legends, Castles & Coast
Doune Castle, Linlithgow & Loch Katrine
St Andrews & Kingsbarns Distillery

Refunds are at the discretion of Scotline Tours for cancellation less than 24 hours before departure.

Please arrive 15 minutes before departure - as missed tours cannot be refunded.

We reserve the right to cancel or alter tour itineraries due to weather conditions, availability or other circumstances without our control. Full refunds will be given if cancellation by us. We do not accept liability or responsibility for the actions of other contractors, their employees or representatives.

Loch Ness & Highlands Explorer Tour

This tour is operated in conjunction with Highland Experience Tours and their terms and conditions will apply to all bookings.

Children under 3 are not accepted on the tour. Proof of age will be required.

Luggage is restricted to one small/medium piece per person (55x40x20, 15kg).

Accommodation is included in the 2 day tour. The tour operator will arrange your accommodation during the tour. Meals and drinks are not included.

All tour return times are approximate.

Cancellation policy – Terms and Conditions 2 day tour
When a passenger wishes to make a cancellation of a multi-day scheduled tour the following charges apply:
Within 7 days of the tour departure, no refund will be given.
8-14 days before the tour departure, a 50% refund of the tour price will be given.
15 days or more before the tour departure, a full refund of the tour price will be given.

 

Three, Four & Five Day Tours

The Terms & Conditions listed here apply to all bookings made for the following tours:
Highlands & Isle of Skye - three day tour
Best of the Highlands - four day tour
Highland Highlights - five day tour
These tours are operated in conjunction with Scottish Tours and their terms and conditions apply to all bookings.

Children under 3 are not accepted on the tour.

Luggage is restricted to one medium piece per person.

Accommodation with breakfast is included in 'Highland Highlights' - five day tour, 'Best of the Highlands' - four day tour and the 'Highlands & Isle of Skye' - three day tour.

The tour operator will arrange your accommodation during the tour. Double and twin rooms prices are based on shared accommodation with members of your own party/group. Meals and drinks are not included.

All tour return times are approximate.

Cancellation Charges
If you wish to cancel a Booking then the following scale of charges will apply:
45 days or more before tour departure, an 80% refund of the total price will be given.
22 - 44 days before the tour departure, a 75% refund of the total price will be given.
15 - 21 days before tour departure, a 50% refund of the total price will be given.
0 - 14 days (or on the date of departure), no refund will be given.

Very rarely, certain accommodation arrangements (Mainly: certain types of hotel bookings) may not be changeable after a reservation has been made and any alteration/cancellation request could incur a cancellation charge of up to 100% of that part of the arrangement. This would be in addition to the cancellation fees shown above.

 

General Guidleines

These guidelines apply to all tours booked through Scotline Tours.

We reserve the right to change the tour itinerary at any time due to weather, acts of God and events outwith our control.

Unless stated otherwise, food, attractions and accommodation are not included in the tour price.

We are a family friendly operator and welcome children of 3 years and over.

It is the responsibility of the Passenger to ensure that they are at the departure point in good time and that they adhere to the departure times given in the Company’s publicity and by its representatives.
Coaches will not be held for Passengers who are late. In such cases full cancellation charges will apply and the Company shall have no further liability to that Passenger.

Please note that we operate with a minimum number of 5 passengers on all tours except private tours.

 

Complaints procedure

If you have any complaint in respect of services provided by us please bring it immediately to the attention of the management.

If it is not then resolved to your satisfaction you should contact our office promptly giving the booking reference number, full details and if possible a daytime telephone number or e-mail address, so that we can make a timely and thorough investigation.
